The GiveJoy Initiative is rooted in the belief that giving back is an essential element to living a happy and healthy life. What began as a local effort to provide a small community of underprivileged children with access to proper nutrition, has blossomed into a nationwide initiative. The GiveJoy Initiative has a clear mission: create more opportunities for children in need to eat healthily, stay active and build a strong foundation for a prosperous future. FitJoy is committed to supporting the mission by spreading awareness and contributing to the program. With every FitJoy branded product sold, we will donate a portion of the proceeds to the GiveJoy Initiative.
When you buy a FitJoy bar, you aren’t just experiencing joy, you’re giving it too. FitJoy has partnered with The GiveJoy Initiative™ to help eradicate food insecurity for children in underprivileged areas. How?
With every FitJoy branded product you purchase, a portion of the proceeds will go to the GiveJoy Initiative to help grow its mission.

Food insecurity continues to grow within many households in the United States. In fact, more than 16 million American kids struggle with hunger each year. This lack of proper nutrition has a detrimental impact on their development, childhood joy and future.
Children facing hunger are twice as likely to repeat a grade in elementary school and 62 percent of teachers in the US say kids entering their classrooms each morning are hungry.
Did you know?
One in 5 children in the United States is not getting the nutrition they need to grow healthy and strong. Hunger and uncertainty about their next meal prevent them from enjoying their childhood to the fullest.
